Lightning Policy
If you see lightning in the area:
A. Clear the fields and instruct players, referees, and spectators to move to a safe place.
B. Suspend game for 30 minutes.
1. If lightning is not seen again in those 30 minutes, play may resume.
2. If lightning is seen again, clock must restart for another 30 minutes.
a). Total elapsed time for game suspensions will not equal or exceed 60 minutes.
b). If suspension of game exceeds or equals 60 minutes, the game will be called off.
i). If 1/2 game has been played, the sore at the time the game was suspended will stand as the final score.
ii). If the 1/2 was not played, the game will be rescheduled.
c). Referees will be paid if they show up at the field for the first game that is cancelled.
